How QmPlus AS Processes Your Personal Information

 

Personal information refers to data that can be directly associated with you as an individual, such as your name, email address, and company name. Such information is necessary for us to serve you as a customer.

We process personal information in connection with our marketing efforts. This is done, for example, by sending you relevant information you have requested.

Please note that it is not allowed to send sensitive personal information or social security numbers by email, unless the content is encrypted.

Purpose of Processing

The purpose of processing your personal data is to identify you as a customer and to fulfill the agreement you have with us.

Our processing of personal data is handled by our employees. All employees of QmPlus AS are subject to confidentiality. This confidentiality applies not only outside the company but also internally among colleagues and lasts even after the employment relationship has ended.

What Personal Information Is Processed

Information processed by QmPlus AS can be categorized as follows:

– Administrative information such as name, telephone number, email address, job title, and the company you work for.
– Information about behavior on our website, such as which articles one reads and what one shows interest in.

We only collect information about you to send you relevant information you ask for, to fulfill an agreement we have with you, or because we consider we have a legitimate interest that does not override your privacy.

If we need to process sensitive personal information to fulfill an agreement with you, we will obtain your consent to this before processing. The consent limits the processing to only include the information necessary for QmPlus AS to fulfill the specific agreement.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. The processing of the relevant personal data will then cease.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Personal information may be disclosed to public authorities if this follows from a statutory duty of disclosure or duty of disclosure.

Any third parties receiving personal data from us are subject to confidentiality through agreement.

Storage

We do not store personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. If you have a customer relationship with us, personal data about you will be stored.

All information about you is stored on secure servers, in accordance with Hubspot’s data storage routines.

Right to Demand Access

You have the right to demand access to the information we process about you. You are entitled to know the purpose and basis of processing we use, which information about you we process, recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data is disclosed, the storage length of the personal data, and where the information was obtained from.

Right to Demand Correction and Deletion

If you believe that QmPlus AS has registered information about you that is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to demand correction of the relevant personal data. You can demand that we delete personal data about you if the data is no longer necessary for the purpose of the processing, you withdraw your consent if consent has been used as the basis for processing, you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate reasons to continue the processing, or if the data has been processed unlawfully.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive personal data we have stored about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right to demand that we transfer the information we have received from you to another data controller if it is technically feasible and the processing is based on consent or contract.

The data controller is the one who determines the purposes for which and the means by which personal data is processed. QmPlus AS acts as the data controller and should have an overview of the processes, business areas, and systems that process personal data, and continuously follow up on internal control and the risk situation. Complaints About the Processing
